Good Morning Everyone;
Since this is my blog, I thought it was time you all heard from me. First, let me thank everyone who came to see us off on Wednesday. It was great to see so many well-wishers. Especially after my crew did such a good job of getting me all cleaned up for the dance. I really feel I was looking my best. So, I've been repaying the favor. My crew has been good to me, so I am responding by helping them get me to Kaneohe.
For example, when they treat me with respect, I have let them know when they are sailing too high, or two low. Too high, I will first fold my kite in just a bit. If they don't listen, I round up for them and remind them to listen to me. Too low, and I will gently bring the boom to centerline. If that doesn't work, I swing it at them.
But, overall, they are treating me with the respect I deserve as an experienced ocean sailor, so I am doing all I can to help them. I do believe I will remind them to sponge me out and clean up my interior today though. It's getting a bit ripe inside!
Haven't heard anything from our friend John Amen about posting from the other end, though. Do hope he is okay.
Cheers, E.T.
