Attended 2012 Pac Cup Wx-Briefing by Lee Chesneau this morning.
Very good Wx-Briefing & Lee did a fabulous job managing the bridge.
- unusually late Low spinning-up along the Aleutians
- Cut-Off Low sinking towards California -> unusual
- T.S. Fabio -> Player for next 2days
- Southern Ocean swells & Ice-Warnings at 20N 130W
- all leading to a very troubled out-of-position High
It's gotta be Global-Warming??? Gosh-Darn-It...
Things are SO screwed-up we have decided to bring in a Consultant at the last minute to help share the blame. And we have decided to run an Open-Boat with E.T. taking advantage of the group intelligence onboard for Nav :) I like working on an Open-Boat myself but if you see E.T. take off in 4 different directions after the start then you'll know we're still working on coming to a consensus.
