Day 253 Wednesday 14/12/16
Wind SW 10-15 Sea 2
Motored back to the Royal and tied up in a different position at the far end of the marina.
The boys decided to take the ferry to the Mona while I gave the boat a beautiful t of spit and polish.
Don and Christine turned up about 17:00 and Brian and Pam arrived shortly after 19:00. Got a BBQ chicken and cooked some vegetables into a nice dinner washed down by some red wine.
Day 254 Thursday 15/12/16
Wind SW 10-15 Sea 2
Did a final load of washing and then went up to the Sandy Bay shopping center to get some coffee.
Said goodbye to Vindy and Ron as they were catching an earlier flight back to Newcastle via Melbourne.
Took the new crew through a briefing and then handed over to Brian for a short sail around the bay.
Had some lunch and a bottle of champagne to celebrate Christine's birthday.
Caught the bus out to the airport. Got a call from Vindy saying their flight to Melbourne had been 1 hour late which meant they missed the connection to Newcastle. New arrival time 9:30! Bloody Jetstar said Vindy.ðŸ˜
I ended up getting back home 2 hours before Vindy.
