Mirror Week is the 15th August to 19th August 2011. Registration is on Sunday 14th August from 3pm to 6pm at SCYC.

Mirror Week is a family sailing week, where all the racing can be seen from the main beach. There are 2 races each morning enabling family time in the afternoon. Each race is around a triangular course lasting approximately 45 minutes. Crew changes between races is facilitated by rescue boats bringing new crews to the racing area at the end of the first race.

There is competitve racing from the front to the back of the fleet, and there is also some coaching on the water for the back of the fleet.

For those wanting to improve their skills, a short triangular course will be available in the afternoon to practise on with resuce and coaches on the water.

A social progrmme of a beach BBQ, Mirror Drive (similar to a beetle drive) and Karioke help make this a great family sailing week.
