Fog
This morning and after a good nights rest, we had planned to continue down the ICW, crossing the Albermerle Sound and stopping for the day, anchoring in the Alligator River. Our plans changed when we woke to a very foggy morning. The fog was so dense and visibility so low schools were delayed for several hours. Forecasters reported the fog would lift around 09:00, then changed the it to 10:00, and then changed it to "by" 1:00. The fog finally lifted around 12:30. Leaving this late meant we would have to navigate the last 45 minutes in darkness. After last night and the uncertainty of channel markers we decided to stay here in Coinjock another night.
