Here is Shawn chatting with Barry and Barbara of Sa Siga Na Vanua, their Hunter 42 that they are sailing to Fiji to build a home (Barry is an architect) and have done an incredible job of equipping their boat for the trip. Barry is an very skilled craftsman and engineer.Their crew consists of three Macaws and a couple of cats. Among their required provisions for the crossing is 5lbs of Cashews for the birds. Bart is inspecting one of our solar panels in the background.
This is a pic of Bart and his pretty daughter Loren. Bart helped us with a lot of wood working projects that would not have been possible without his cabinet maker skills. They are standing in front of one of his best pieces which is a book rack for the cookbooks.
The Herings are friends of John
Robert Lee and Chris Schwartz are chatting with Shawn in the yacht club dining room. Robert is a long standing friend of John
Pat Dugan is a sailing friend and coworker of many years. Pat is the best shipmate anyone could ask for. He is always there with 110% effort Pat zeroed right in on the munchies that Peg and Bob provided.
