Another Dreamer & Wanderer

Wait, I'll check...It's Sunny!
We went to shore to get some produce and water. We saw the produce truck arrive last night, so we rushed in today to stock up on cabbage, avocados, carrots, etc. We bought some peppers that Vicki stuffed with cheese and cooked for lunch. Delicious! We also bought oranges and limes which I squeezed into containers to save refer space.
We walked down the beach and helped some locals load a small (approx 23 ft) sailboat from the anchorage to a trailer. Without a proper boat launch, there were numerous challenges and mishaps, but eventual success. One of the young men turned to me and said, "Es su sueƱo" ("It's his dream") pointing to the boat's owner. Like the many cruisers who anchor in the bay, the future sailor dreams to sailing away to new places is now one step closer to realizing his dream. Of course, the photographer caught me "supervising" rather than really helping.
Further down the beach we stopped at the restaurant and talked to the chef's father (or father in law?). The strong norther kept him from fishing today, but we talked fishing for awhile. The water is too cold for Atun (tuna) and Dorado (called Mahi Mahi, in Hawaii). There are few sharks. Most they catch Jurel and Cabrillo (sea bass), until the sea warms up in June/July. The sea is unusually cool this year.
We received an email from our grandson, Aidan, on the Single Sideband Radio. He looks up our locations on Google Earth and keeps track of us.
The wind picked up in the evening from the west, so we prepared the boat for a blow. But it stayed calm all night and we slept well until 0600 when we turned sideways to a substantial swell out of the east. Fore/aft motion is fine at anchor, but a sideways rolling is unpleasant.
It's a Wonderful Life - on Adesso!
