Another Day In Black Point

Provision Boat at Black Point...Not Food
We had to bring the tank into the laundry to have it filled in Staniel Cay so we decided to dinghy in and go for a walk. When we arrived at the laundry, Ida was not there.
We had not walked the East end of the island road, so we headed off. A ways along, we were drawn South by the King’s Highway but after walking quite a distance, determined that it wouldn’t lead us anywhere scenic quickly. We headed back to the main road and continued east, reaching a side road that appeared to provide ocean access. We followed it to its end first discovering a blow hole and next a secluded beach. Of course, I had not brought my camera so there were some beautiful ocean vistas. Finally, we walked the beautiful white sand crescent beach at the head of our bay then headed back to the laundry fully exercised.
When we arrived, Ida had gone for a shower. We headed back to the boat and when I was preparing lunch, I suggested that Ken try again to bring the tank. He was successful in finding Ida but it was apparently too late to send the tank that day so we wouldn’t get it back until the next day. That meant BBQ for dinner.
