Another Fine Morning

Morning Mist
I awoke earlier than usual to a chilly 61F pre dawn morning with a mist rising off the water and the nearby mountain tops shrouded in clouds. By the time we hoisted anchor, the mist had just about burnt off and the sun was shining on a fine new day.
We continued to motor through the beautiful countryside of the Catskills Mountains and foothills. One particularly picturesque vista was of Esopus Meadows Light built in 1871 with the rolling hills and mountains in the distance.
As we were motoring along, Jim called our mutual friend Rick in Toronto to say hello and see how he was doing. It was great talking with him and he and his wife Wendy offered to ‘catch the lines’ when we arrive back home.
