Glorietta Bay

Our first time to anchor, we set off for Glorietta Bay. There was no wind, but a lovely warm sun on this early November day. Our new life

Lagniappe arrived in June from Vietnam. We motored her home, commissioned her and have lived on her since. Our weekends are filled with learning and floating and "messing with boats". Living the dream...preparing to cruise.

closer...to the dream

Cambrilau is in production. She's being built at the Seawind facility in Vietnam. We can't wait to see pictures!!! Until then, here's a shot from our trip from Catalina on Selah. She taught us that we wanted to live on a Seawind!

Our first time to anchor, we set off for Glorietta Bay. There was no wind, but a lovely warm sun on this early November day. Gave ourselves just enough time to motor down and set up before the sun set. We awakened to rowers, paddlers and ducks enjoying their early Sunday morning rituals. I looked forward to reading on the trampoline of our sweet catamaran, Lagniappe. We were so pleased when we got a text from Thad and Kristin of S/V She's No Lady...and soon after welcomed them aboard. After a quiet day we pulled up anchor and headed home, only to see our friend Bobby on Kia Ora headed toward the Coronado Bridge with passengers enjoying a late afternoon sail. It's so nice to see people we love doing what we love to do!!
Next time, Mission Bay!!
