Young Girls and the Old Man

Aren't they adorable? You bet. But, watch out they're tough on the old man.
Here are our granddaughters as they caught up with us this past weekend to wish their "Pop" a Happy Father's Day. Is it any wonder why they have their grandparents wrapped around their little finger?
Like many sailors who are beached for the hurricane season we need to find other pursuits to focus on until the next sailing season. So each year, with delight, we make up lost time with our granddaughters.
They all love the boat but, even more, they love to go camping with us. A couple of weeks ago we went camping with the two oldest ones and let's just say that their energy level leaves "Pop" dragging his butt after a few hours. After a long weekend, Pop was truly feeling his age.
How a man who sailed several hundred miles single-handedly this past winter and who is active and in pretty decent shape can be brought to his knees by a couple of seemingly innocuous little people I just can't understand. By the end of our weekend "Pop" was one tired puppy.
BUT, I have only one question.
When can we do it again?
