North of Tropic of Cancer
Ivy, cloudy, windy

Happy Mother's Day to all moms.....we don't have any cell access so I won't be calling my mom until Mon. or Tues.
We have had a great week since we left Georgetown, Exuma last Sat. There were quite a few boats moving north and we traveled with one named Sea Salt. We spent the night of the very full moon in a nice big anchorage/town named Black Point and left the next morning for Staniel Cay which is a very quaint town with a yacht club and bakery and several grocery stores.
We snokeled the Thunderball Grotto where the James Bond Thunderball movie was filmed. The pictures show some fish but it wasn't as clear as other places because it is near town and many folks come to snorkel.
Some of the week we had sundowners between the boats we were traveling with....Sundowner rules are: bring your own drinks, own ice and something to share for appetizer. I have to say I need to be better prepared for this last...any suggestions for the appy list?
As we have moved into the Exuma Land and Sea Park our friends have scattered and we are here in Warderick Wells, the headquarters alone.
We have seen the Bananaquit bird and tropicbirds and snorkeled two small coral heads yesterday which were very nice. The fish are bigger as there is no fishing or taking of lobster or conch in the park.
We plan to head north on Monday or so and make our way back to the States. The food is running low and I am having to get creative. I keep saying to Mike when thus and so runs out we need to be home. Ha, Ha most of you know he would never go home.
Pictures include.....pigs on the beach at Big Majors Spot, a beach sundowners meeting and the full moon over Black Point and Brown Noddies.
