Glassing the inside
05 August 2014
Keith glassed the first layer on the inside of the hull today, tomorrow he adds the ribs and tabs all that together. Can't wait to see the finished product and see my Cal all strong and ready to go again. Then I'll start on the bow and work my way back on the deck. Then the interior which I'm not really looking forward to. There's a significant amount of upgrading to the cabinet work, plumbing and electrical along the way. Hopefully my bow rail will be coming soon, then I get to rewire my bow lights, what a thrill. Also I'll be re-wiring the mast, maybe add a wind instrument, cause I just can't throw enough money into this boat it seems. My good buddy, Tom Watson is in the process of repairing my rudder. He ordered the stainless post today and will do a super job I know. This guy can do anything, and I'm not exaggerating. He rebuilt my original Volvo heat exchanger and it looks better than anything Volvo ever built. It it's wood, metal, fiberglass, conceptual, Tom can make it, fix it, design it or improve it. And no, you can't have his number. Not until Almost Paradise splashes.
