Jazz and Dinner by Danny D here at PLM... Again!

11 September 2009 | The National Museum, Grenada
Becca
We're thinking that it's a split on who should be the cruise director. There's one in every crowd, but it seems that Lucy and Richard, our neighbors here at the Marina and Danny Donelan are surely tied.

Tonight the point goes to Danny who signed us up for reservations for 16 at BB's Crab Back Restaurant, to follow our entertainment at the National Museum for some great Jazz!

Our Danny, the 30 something modern Cary Grant with an exotic Grenadian twist, apparently invited a childhood sweetheart, Anica, who brightened up the evening with her sparkling self! The chemistry appears to be long in developing and they were the pulse of a great group tonight!

After a super meal, Danny grabbed markers which have been encouraged for a long time here at BB's Restaurant. It seems that our Danny Boy, was a characature artist. He playfully and creatively 'graffitied" each and everyone of us up on the soffet where he had plenty of room and I only wish I had every single one to share!

BB, the owner, was really a showman too. All the entrees on the menu were named after his children. He had a few. He had a kick butt music system and collection. As everybody is dancing, he's pumping up us partiers by saying if you "name that song" you get to cut your bill in half. We did do a lot of yelping and no one got a reduced bill, but Wow, another great night!

Thanks again Danny, National Museum Jazz Artists and BB!

Thanks Honey...and thanks to our gang of friends, again!

Vessel Name: Altair
Vessel Make/Model: Tartan 34'
Hailing Port: Coconut Grove Sailing Club
Crew: Dudley Clark and Becky Butler
About: Dudley has owned this Tartan sloop and has been cruising on her since 1986. Becky joined the good sloop back in 2000 when we first started cruising together and he has been 'training' me ever since! I couldn't be happier! I've been sailing all my life, but cruising is a whole different fish!
Extra: This is the most extended cruise we've braved on this wonderful, old boat of ours which is planned to be about 2 years! We left Miami in late February of 2008 and want to get below the hurricane belt by the end of July! Ok, so it's July, 2011...we're close, but not home yet!
