02/20/2010, Martin's Marina, Secret Harbor, Hartman Bay
Hal of S/V Main Bris has been announcing a Jumbalaya, flea market among cruisers, held at Martin's Marina on the Cruiser's Net for a while now! Angel, the manager here for a long time worked with Hal to bring some energy back to this magnificent place. We met some interesting new folks, laughed with old friends, giggled with new friends and had a good BBQ too!
Had we planned better, we could've gotten a booth to rid Altair of stuff and make room for someone else's stuff. Shucks!

When we got the call that Larry was leaving Grenada and the PLM gang was throwing a Bon Voyage Party, we jumped on it! He's going to meet his bride in St. Martin soon after she returns from Venezuela. The stories we've gathered along the way, wow!
We are going to miss everybody, but we have to appreciate having met them, not moping about the moving on part.

Nono and Vincent, English and Mallorcan couple on their boat "Tadaponi", are very cool and they need a sewing machine. They live very frugally so when we found out, we offered to let them use our machine. I lost some pics and they were in it darn it!
I am going to have Nono make Dudley an earring. Since he's had his left ear pierced (is that the correct ear, hehe?), his birthday presents have been nautical earrings. As soon as they finish with the work on their sails, they will start carving some ivory for Dudley's ear.
How cool is that? That neat little red sailing dingy was built by them. I can tell you personally it was very wet, but extremely fun and we can use anytime we want. I want one....wheeeennnnnn!
