04/06/2010, Sonesta, Coconut Grove!
When we first hooked up with Nell and Phil in the Tabago Cays in the Grenadines, they exhibited their normal character by inviting everyone they meet including their fellow club members, us, in Miami, aboard their yacht, Moondancer for dinner, cocktails, sundowners, you name it!
Well, here she is, entertaining in her awesome home way up in the sky, while Phil is taking the boat with some crew to Bon Aire! She's going to meet him there, but in the meantime she has some friends to gather and party!
Another great night with Nell! Sorry you couldn't be there Phil, it was a great group of Club members and Hika who is adopting "George", Nellie's dog. He was there for a visit too!
Thanks Nell!

04/06/2010, Sonesta, Posh Digs!
When we found out that Nellie, our friend cruising in the Caribbean too, is at her place @ the Sonesta in Coconut Grove, we couldn't believe it! Check out the view from her place. That's our mooring field for the Coconut grove Sailing Club! Great View eh?

04/05/2010, Shorty's BBQ Restaurant, Miami Still!
When Karen, Jo and I get together for lunch or a girl's cazh meal it's usually at this BBQ place. They wanted to treat me to a birthday dinner and we unanimously decided on "Shortys!"
Love you both! Thanks a bunch, it was a great sail and a nice extension to a wonderful day!

04/05/2010, Biscayne Bay, Killer Sailing Grounds...
My two girlfriends, Karen and Jo both have 24' Morgans! Karen recently sold her Catalina and bought this sweet little sloop called Natural High! We think she should add "...ness" to the end of the name, but it's bad luck to change the name, right?
We three took advantage of a perfect day on Biscayne Bay for a gentle sail and it was a nice treat for another birthday celebration!
One of our launch drivers here at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club, Pat, thought it strange that I come back from the Caribbean and wanted to go sailing! You bet!

04/04/2010, Coconut Grove, Florida
Not only did we go to our favorite Church for Easter, but we got a delightful invitation to dinner! The Lambertis, Krisan and Dom, always throw a good dinner party, but this was like a small Fellini film. The characters that shared the evening were a hoot and the good time is still being talked about!

04/04/2010, St. Stephens Episcopal Church
We've been trying to get to St. Stephens to listen to Dom's Choir practice. Dom has a great voice, is in a Barber Shop Quartet, among other venues, so Easter was a great reason to see our dear friends Dom, Krisan and one of their daughters, Krista!
It was a lovely service, a female Priest, and a heartwarming reunion! Women Rule!
