Sunday, May 13. About 0200 this AM I decided that enough was enough. This must be a “tourista” of some kind so we both took Cipro and by the time we got up this morning, we were both feeling better. The wind was still blowing, maybe 10-15 instead of 15-20, so we lazed around for the morning but went ashore this afternoon. Not a lot was open, but Deb found a straw hat she liked and a T-shirt and then we went to a Pig Roast at a local restaurant. The pig was great as was the beans and the rice. Great lunch/dinner. There is some discussion among the cruisers about the possibility of an early tropical depression/ hurricane forming somewhere near here in about a week, but it looks like the possibility is fairly low. We will monitor it closely and decide if we go to Utila or try to run back to a better hurricane hole on Roatan. Hopefully to Utila.
