We are home from our travels and Dave & Lisa are back in US (or will be later tonight). I certainly have some maintenance to do on Always, but she served us well limping home with sails and 1/2 an engine. We even managed to tie up to our new dock without mishap. Dave got in the dinghy and acted as tug boat while Bill was on the dock catching lines thrown to him by Deb and I played our single engine for all it was worth (which wasn't much at that point.) Dave & Lisa helped unload and now we have to get back into life in Discovery Bay while repairing Always. I already have a line on a new starter and maybe even wire harness. Paula is hosting a big 4th of July party here today so that will be a good start at re-integrating into our land based friends & community. I will update this blog with details of what I found as problems / solutions to the engines, but otherwise do not look for daily updates for awhile. We fly back to US July 26 to visit family and await the birth of our first grandchild (and probably for me to have surgery on my shoulder).
