For the next several weeks this blog will be devoted to the voyage of Indigo Lady, my brother David and his wife Lisa's new (to them) Voyage 44 catamaran. They bought the boat in BVI and after some repairs, Dave & I sailed her over to St. Thomas where Lisa and her parents, MaryAnn and Henry, had begun provisioning. We have been delayed in our leaving by a cranky (or rather NON-cranking!) starter on one engine and a delay in getting the satellite phone activated over the weekend. The five of us will be departing Monday as soon as we get the satellite phone working and top up the water and fuel tanks. The plan is to sail non-stop to Florida, making landfall in West Palm Beach.

In the Spring of 2016, we sailed from Bocas del Toro, Panama, to Cuba and back with stops at the Albuquerque Cays, Providencia, and the Cayman Islands. We cruised the South coast of Cuba some and then left the boat for some inland excursions.
