Paul and team
Toomey takes the first salt water shower of the boat, so he smells good. He says; "thanks to all once again for the wonderful send off at Kaneohe, especially to the mermaids who brought us and the boat flowers. Two small suprises: our most exciting sailing has been at night, and Toomey has a duffle bag that weighs about 300 pounds and we're not sure what's in it. One of Andrew's big realizations is that you need to sleep a lot during the day if you've been up sailing most the night. You'll be glad to know that the rest of us will have our first showers today too, and we are all getting on well together; lots of laughter, stories and even some singing. There were some small flying fish aboard at daybreak and I decided to try one (mostly for the entertainment value). They think I tricked them and didn't actually eat ,but I did! Also, we hooked a small marlin today, but that was short lived. Adam saw it jump twice before it got off. Food's been great. For lunch Toomey made his special egg burritos. Dinner was Beef Bourgogne with steamed rice a la Adam, (zee finest chef aboard!). Only 2,200 miles to go. Thanks for listening in and feel free to comment. Miss you guys, Paul
