We got through NYC just fine on Saturday - beautiful and exciting. Out into the Atlantic and followed the New Jersey coast the whole way to Atlantic City. Arrived at 6:30 pm just as the sun set. We had left at 6:30 am. Weather was beautiful. We wanted to go to Cape May and could have except Keith did not want to arrive in the dark into a port we had never been to before. We knew weather was coming but had hoped to make it out early on Sunday and woke at 6 to prepare but the weather was already here so we have stayed along with many other boats waiting, waiting... on weather. A familiar refrain. Tomorrow morning is looking good and we hope to get out and round Cape May at the end of New Jersey, back track up the Delaware Bay to the C&D canal which will take us across to the top of the Chesapeake Bay. We'll sail down the Bay to Norfolk and catch our plane on Monday.
One cool thing is that Nathan and Kellie drove up for the night and we had a fun evening at a good restaurant and casino.
