About midnight last night it really cut loose with the rain and the lightning. Nothing like being in a thunderstorm in a piece of plastic floating on water with a 60 foot metal stick in the air. It rained most of the night and early morning. Things were soaked when we got up. But we caught a break in the weather and motored to Norman island. It was like glass when we got there so Kim decided we should go snorkeling. When we got in, the water was very cloudy from the rain runoff. Mistake #1. So I had the idea to go hiking. Mistake #2. We were going to try to find the trail to Benures Bay. We couldn't find it but we did find water running down the mountain and mud. So back to the boat for lunch and cleaning of shoes.
