Getting ready to go on a road trip

We sailed into Bay of Conception with a good SE wind and droped anchor in Sanspec bay. The salt water cat fish were everywhere. We tried to go swimming but they were nibbleing at our toes and they were enoying. After two days of this we pulled anchor and headed for Isla Requesion. It was just down the bay 8 miles. We anchored just off the beach and went for a cool swim. Later that afternoon we stoped in the small cattina at Buenaventura, the owners were very nice and the hamburgers were good. The next day Lew was feeling a little under the weather so he thought maybe he got a bug or something. Now we know it wasn't from Buenaventura, it had to be from dinner in town. It was hot that day and Lew must have lost at least 20 pounds in persperation and his visites to the john. I took him into town to get him checked out and sure enough he was dehidrated. They hooked him up with a IV and he was ready to go. We took it easy the next couple of days. Lew was not doing very well so we decided to head over to San Carlos early and see better doctors.
It was a easy crossing and we pulled into San Carlos 2 days ahead of schedule. After a trip to the doctor we were good to go. The doctor said he had a bug and just needed antibiodics. By June 1st Lew was starting to feel like his old self again and we were back on schedule. We are getting the boat ready to pull out and store on the hard. Our boat will be pulled out tomarrow at 9:00 AM.
We are taking the bus to Tucson and then renting a car and driving to the PNW. We plan on taking a side trip to Vegas for Gabby's birthday. She wants to ride the rollercoasters. I miss all my PNW friends and family. We plan on visiting for the hot season of the Sea. And of course the Latitudes & Attitudes party will be a must do. As soon as the weather cools down in the Sea we are heading back to Mexico and continue our adventure.
