Well we are still in the yard; at least Puddle Pirate is still in the yard. We were moved yesterday to the back of the yard. This is where the local workers strip the paint and fix all the boo boos with fiberglass. Lew finished sanding the floors and boy do they look nice. Today we started cleaning the inside of the boat. It was really dusty from all the sanding. Oh Lew also mounted up the new hydro vane. All the rigging is done with sails up and in place. Next step is to paint the bottom as soon as the workers finish the repairs. I am so ready to get out of the yard and into the water. We are so behind schedule; all our cruising friends are having a great time without us. (Boo ho):(

Rosie made the best of our time in the yard, she meet a nice boy her age to hang with. He was there with his grandparents. They were working on their boats bottom as well. While the grownups worked the kids played. But sadly he had to go back home to Colorado for school so Rosie is all alone again. It is back to the grind stone again, working and school work for Rosie. Christmas break is over. Our boat is going to look so nice when it is done, I can’t wait. Well that is all for now, until next time.
