¤95 nautical miles covered in 12 hours, 539 nautical miles with zero to go yay!!! Arrived in Avatiu harbour Rarotonga at 07.00 yesterday, so happy to feel some land under our feet after 4 days at sea and how fortunate to be arriving in the Cook Islands just when they're celebrating Constitution Day. We've done all the required official stuff and have wandered around and met some really wonderfully friendly people as we watched the annual float parade go by. We can't get over how people want to go out of their way to help us, we met a lovely lady named Stephanie who very kindly gave us a ride back to the boat with our bags of washing. We've had heaps of local kids swimming around the back of the boat, they're such nice kids with great manners and their giggles and whoops of delight while jumping off the jetty make this lovely island even more appealing. ¤Life is very satisfying on Annecam¤
