¤Another 127 nautical miles sailed over the last 24 hours this time we managed an extra 10 miles down the rum line 123, only 3 less to the miles sailed. We are over the halfway mark with another 282 to go.¤Someone mentioned in the last blog that there would be no more tacking, that someone would be me, well that statement was almost right but we are still having to jibe fairly often due to the shifting winds. One moment we are going along at over 8 knots the next we are wallowing along at 5 and sometimes less, we still have to keep trimming the sails to keep us moving in the right direction. The further we sail across the Pacific Ocean the more fish we are seeing, there are heaps of flying fish and tuna busting up no doubt feeding on the flying fish and on the odd occasion we are seeing some much larger animals up on the surface.¤Even though we are working hard for every mile we sail, life is still pretty damn good on Annecam
