Well we're almost home, a few hours ago we left International and entered Australian waters, we decided that this would be a good time to sing the National anthem, We sang our favorite Adam Hills version of the anthem which is sung to the tune of Jimmy Barnes's 'Working Class Man'. Google it, it's fantastic but you probably have to be a Dinky Die Aussie to appreciate this. Not long after this stirring rendition, one of the fishing rods went ballistic, Cam had hooked a solid black marlin which saw us furling the sails and me backing Annecam around like a game fishing boat meanwhile Cam wound like crazy on the big rod. I was having a bit of a conniption about how we would release this magnificent creature once we got it to the back of the boat but fortunately the hook pulled right on cue, phewww!
ETA should be mid afternoon tomorrow in the Port of Bundaberg, Queensland.
