See the awesome lightning over the Mt. Yasur volcano on Tanna Island in Vanuatu the night before we set sail for New Caledonia. We stop as a ship in transit in several locations before we clear in through Customs and Immigration in Noumea. Noumea, New Caledonia is the last port of call for us on Annecam before we set our sails for Australia. We had very good conditions for the first half of this passage and the last couple of days we had to sail with the wind on our nose. The East side of New Caledonia is nothing short of breathtaking, it almost looks like parts of Australia with the red soil contrasting with the lush green forest.
