This is the final passage of our journey from Europe to Australia. This is a very emotional homecoming for us, it took 4 years and 4 months for us to complete what we set out to do. We managed to get to spend some of that time in 52 different countries from the Mediterranean, the Atlantic Ocean, cruising the Caribbean Sea, transiting the Panama Canal and then crossing the Pacific Ocean. We sailed Annecam 23,076 nautical miles (about 42,000 kilometres) to get here. We still have not completed a full circumnavigation and we do not plan to do one. Our only goal was to purchase a yacht in the Mediterranean and sail it back to Australia.
We do have the desire to sail in our own waters and to make a few more videos to show you some of the highlights of this beautiful country.
Thank you to all who have been following us, all of you who have been riding on Annecam, we are humbled by how many of you who are out there and thank you for leaving comments. This whole journey has been an adventure, a voyage of discovery for us and I do believe it has made us a lot stronger as a team achieving what we set out to do.
Falling ill was definitely not part of my plans, thank you to all who have nursed me along the way and at long last it looks like we are heading in the right direction, only time will tell.
I do apologise for our singing in this video and thanks to the interruption by a fish you are saved from more torture.

As always life is beautiful enjoy the ride each day as tomorrow is not promised to anyone.
