Happy New Year to you all from us on Annecam. Last night we stayed up way past our bed time to see 2016 out and to make sure 2017 arrived, this was our very first time here in Sydney Harbour and ‘wow’ it lived up to all of the hype that we have heard about for many years, it was a show to remember forever.
Just to witness 30 tons of fireworks lighting up the night sky was nothing short of amazing, the action started at 1800 with a brilliant stunt show of aerobatics put on by a couple of local pilots, then one of the big harbour tugs displayed it’s fire fighting capabilities, we then were treated to a display of light as several ships lit up with tube lights paraded around the harbour. There was a short fireworks display for the younger children at 2100 and several other displays leading up to the release of 30 tons of fireworks ushering in the new year and what a show it was.
Once again the photo does not do what we witnessed justice.
Life is absolutely wonderful on Annecam and we wish for a full year of adventure for you all.
