We managed to get all of our laundry done and we found the supermarket that we mentioned in the last blog but we could not find any internet fast enough to complete the YouTube video up-loads, we tried the library but found that after one hour we had only completed five percent, so we gave up and decided to wait until we sailed to Townsville.
We enjoyed our time moored in the Bowen Boat Harbour, it’s nice and calm inside. The supermarket is within walking distance and the laundry we used was at the first caravan park we came to near the boat harbour.
Today we untied our lines and escaped out into the Coral Sea once again, as we had to wait for low tide to have enough clearance under the power lines we only sailed eight nautical miles to Queens Bay and anchored for the night. Tomorrow we plan to sail to Cape Upstart.
The photo is a glass wall at the Catalina Memorial in Bowen, Bowen was a base for these aircraft during the second world war.
