We left Sukosan Bay this morning and had a lovely sail out to Pasman Island just inside the Pasman Bridge, the bridge that claims a number of yachts every year. The clearence is only 16.8 metres and every now and then someone tries to go under with a yacht that has a mast that is too tall, it keeps the riggers and the repair businesses in a job.
This is a beautiful spot that has protection in all wind directions exept from the north east, we have decided to sit on our Mantus anchor in this location until we recieve a call from the stainless steel fabricators or the buisness that is supplying our solar panels and wind generator.
We will take the dingy in and explore the village called Zdrelac and see what it has to offer and while we are there we might even take a walk over the Pasman Bridge.
I know it is only a very limited number of times we have set our Mantus anchor but so far it has set every time and dug into the bottom like no other anchor I have tried, so far we love our Mantus.
The short video will give you an idea of what it is like in the part of the world.
Life is good on Annecam.
