Here we are sitting in one of our favourite alfresco restaurants in English Harbour Antigua, this location has some amazing history ,it is here that Admiral Lord Nelson used as a base for the English navy of the day.
As we arrived we sailed or I should say we motored due to the lack of wind right into the middle of the Antigua super yacht regatta and wow! What magnificent pieces of machinery they were, they also had a time of it rounding the course in the same light air.
The pillars you can see in the photo are I'm guessing have something to do with securing the English navy ships for maintenance. The sail loft where our Genoa is being repaired is the original sail loft used by Nelson, it's still in operation today.
We are about to take our dinghy for a tour of English Harbour just to check the place out.
Life is very relaxing on Annecam once again.
