I find it interesting when talking to other cruisers about the names they give to the equipment they have on board their yachts, some of them are quite bizarre. Just after we purchased Annecam, Annie christened our auto pilot ‘Wilbur’ and that has now stuck, you will quite often hear the call from the cockpit to make Wilbur go to port or starboard by 5 or 10 degrees. Then there is our fantastic Mantus anchor we have affectionately called ‘Greg’, there is our dinghy we have called Macenna, I will let you work that one out. Macenna is quite often our only way to get to the shore for the important provisions, to get to the Customs and Immigration officials to be able to clear in or out plus to be able to just get to a beach to stretch our legs every now and then is always a good thing.
Photo is Annie and Sarah riding in Macenna on our way to the airport for some free wifi to update our electronic charts.
We are about to go into the airport again this morning for a bit more free wifi and then purchase some more provisions before we sail down to Cane Garden Bay for the St Patricks Day Party at the Paradise Club for some good old ‘Rock N Roll’.
Life is always entertaining on Annecam.
