To clear or not to clear.

Regarding the clearing out we had the question answered for us today as we found that the clearance office here in Terre de Haut was shut for one of the many public holidays here in this part of the world, so tomorrow morning we will be lining up for the 0900 opening along with a heap of other Australians, who just happen to be heading in the same direction as us.
We have been to one of the markets and purchased some provisions, downloaded the info for Dominica so we know what, where and who we will be seeing to clear into their country, grabbed a couple of screen shots from Predictwind so we know that we will be beating into the seas again. At least it is only for 20 miles so we are set to go.
We did spend the last two days anchored in a small bay called Petite Anse and as usual we found that there are some sailors who have anchoring skills and then there are some who have no idea at all. We did have some excitement when we had another yacht hook their anchor onto our chain and after some discussion and tying our boats together I managed to clear their anchor off our chain. I must add that ‘Greg’ our Mantus anchor never moved, it just dug in deeper.
Some days life can be exciting on Annecam.
