Cam "H"
We have been anchored in the same location for six days now and apart from a few rides in Macenna our dinghy and a shopping trip into St George’s for provisions, this place will be where we will stay right up until we get Annecam hauled out for some more bottom paint at the Clarkes Court Boat Yard later next month.
Today Annie made use of the Secret Harbour laundry facilities and did three large loads of washing while I took Macenna around to see the yacht yard, Annecam looked like a Chinese laundry once again, with clean washing hanging of everything.
This is a very nice anchorage, protected by a network of coral reefs that minimise the Atlantic Ocean swell, most of the time we are sitting in dead calm water and the gentle trade winds do keep the temperature down to the low thirties, Celsius.
We may or may not have our first tropical storm brewing a few hundred miles south west of the Cape Verde Islands. This storm if it develops should go north of our position but we are all watching to see if it forms into a hurricane and watching the track it takes.
The photo is a couple of our cruising friends who took part in the recent Carnival, go girls.
Life is very good on Annecam.
