Day 15 The trades are back

152 nautical miles in the last 24 hours, 2,564 completed so far and 689 to go. ¤We spent most of the last 24 hours sailing wing on wing, heading almost spot on for the Maquesas Islands but the wind strength and direction had other ideas. We are now flying along on a shy reach heading in the general direction but not spot on with our target, such is life on a cruising yacht. ¤The fishing score has improved slightly with 2 hooked one landed and it was let go, it was one of the ugliest fish in the Pacific Ocean, it almost looked like a southern baracouta but twice as ugly. The second fish looked like a bill fish. It managed to win it's freedom smashing a 1,000 lb roller swivel in the process, oh you win some and you loose some ¤The seas are up and it looks like we are in for a bumpy ride for the next few days. ¤As always life is good on Annecam.
