Life is great my friends. My first long ocean crossing. Yes, life is great. I saw dolphins, flying fish, a ray, bunch a birds, and something that resembled either a turtle or according to cam, a sunfish. Life is great. We caught some mahi mahi and some tuna fish. Once again, life is great. Our slowest day we covered aproximately 130 nautical miles and our fastest day we covered just over 200 nautical miles. Yup, life is great. I spent half the trip seasick and then once I vomitted one night I spent the rest of the trip constipated. Hahahaha, life is still pretty great. I was disgusted by most foods so eating became a chore, yet I daydreamed of eating delicious foods everyday. Awkward sensation, but damn life is great. For hours my mind would go off on mental tangents thinking about the past, present, and future, as I stared into the horizon slowly watching the day go by. Life is great, and I am greatful for it. I am alive.

Today, as I sit here in the cockpit ocassionally glancing away from this sheet of paper, my eyes behold the majestic beauty which is Hiva Oa and its very numerous shades of green. I contemplate the greatness of life. It brings tears to my eyes and I feel nothing, but gratitude. I feel greatful to exist and for the existance of such beautiful places. I feel grateful that cam's and my destiny were intertwined and that he chose to let me tag along. Thank you.

And while I'm here real busy enjoying life, I wonder what I've done in my life to deserve such an honor as it is to be exactly where I am at. I remember when I was a child, I used to look at the pictures of beautiful landscapes in calendars and say I wanted to go there. Well, here I am folks. I made it. Somehow, I am here. I even had to have Cam pinch my arm to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Turns out I was wide awake and that all this is real. So with all this, here is what I have to say to the world: go for it. If you have a dream, go for it. Create yourself an opportunity and just let yourself go. Nothing else is that important. Take the opportunity and allow yourself to float in your waking dreams. You deserve it, just as we all do. We all owe it to ourselves to feel fulfilled and satisfied with life. What else would be the meaning of life?

There is a ray of light shining through a cloud . I think pacha mama and the cosmic energies are happy with me because it looks like they are smiling. They embrace me with their gentle breeze. Thank you. You inspire every part of my being, you give me courage, and you guide me. You always bring me to where I belong, and you teach me the lessons I must learn to continue remolding myself into the person I want to be. Thank you.
