Hi from us on Annecam
04 July 2016 | Tahiti
Annie and Cam H
We are back in almost the same spot in the lagoon in front of the Marina Tahina here in Tahiti after we motor sailed back from the Island of Moorea at the end of the Rendezvous. We are waiting for one item of mail from Australia to arrive before we move on to Bora Bora for Bastille Day on the 14th. From there we intend to clear out through Customs and Immigration, our plan is to make Suwarrow in the northern Cook Islands our next landfall, it should be a 4 night, 5 day passage, that is if the trade winds are good to us. After Suwarrow we plan to head to Niue and that passage will be a similar distance as the one from Bora Bora to Suwarrow.
After 9 days of countless miles of riding on different buses and walking our legs off we finally found the right place to purchase LP gas in the correct European cylinders for cooking on board Annecam. We could not believe how something so simple could turn into such a saga, we now have 10kg of the liquid gold stashed away in our fuel locker, this should be enough for the rest of our journey back to Australia.
We love waiting in beautiful places like this, as usual life is good on Annecam
