Pancake Creek
25 May 2015
With twenty boats in the anchorage waiting for the winds to abate, there is a vibrant social scene playing out. Dinghies are zipping back and forth for drinks. But surely the most impressive effort was Carol's onshore laid table for her Jeff's birthday, to which we were invited.
The forecast for tomorrow is for 15-20 kts dead astern, and fairly flat seas, so there has been movement in the anchorage, with a handful of boats relocating to the mouth of the creek for a flying pre-dawn start. We plan to leave at about 6am and are hoping for a 6-7 kt average to Great Keppel Is.
