Overcast, Slight Rain, Coastal Fog, Light Wind
Marblehead to Kittery - 38 nm
Easy departure from Marblehead with slight rain in 8 kts winds.
Went through Annisquam River at low tide and into Ipswich Bay to open sea. We approached Kittery in fog (NE of Portsmouth Hbr) with a 600 ft tanker and one other yacht. Made our entry interesting.

Once settled on our mooring at Kittery Point Yacht Yard, we walked to "Rudders Public House" - a cozy little pub around the corner from the naval shipyard and 45 minute walk. A perfect spot to grab a drink and watch the ball game on the big screen. I went with the Veggie Burger & Terry with the Bacon Burger and boy was it delicious! Big, juicy and did I say, delicious! Loved this little place in this adorable little town. Great location and great atmosphere.
