Foggy Start, Foggy End, Very Little Sun, No Wind, No Waves
Kittery to Portland, 45 nm
Left Kittery in thick fog hoping it would clear after we left Portsmouth Harbour however the fog persisted, much of our trip had a visibility of .5 mi with S Winds 5 - 10 kts. It was mostly cloudy with very little sun & thick fog as we entered Portland Harbour at the same time as tanker "Cape Bellavista" - 899ft tanker, 158ft beam was leaving. Couldn't see him through the thick fog but could hear him honking his horn.
Got to our mooring just as thunderstorms & lighting show started.
Time to chill and watch a movie.
