The Waitukubuli Trail follows the spine (more or less) of this very mountainous island and is broken into segments from south to north. We have hiked segments in the past and yesterday we walked part of segment 11. Typical of most trails in Dominica it weaves through groves of grapefruit, banana, cocoa and coffee, and then goes through stretches of jungle. The trail was climbed rapidly and gave us an excellent view of the bay
