Upper Concord Falls

Dedicated blog readers might remember that we have taken several trips to Concord Falls in the past. There is an easy way and a hard way and of course we took Kathy and Jim on the hard route. The hike is about five miles, but is quite rugged, wet and muddy (think slippery). We were fortunate to have good weather that gave us good views on the ridge.
We have known Jim for over 30 years and have many shared experiences. We worked in the same park and many years ago and have since visited each other in our new parks, we have kayaked many rivers together, including two trips on through the Grand Canyon. It is fun and an honor to be able to share our cruising lifestyle with both Jim and Kathy. It has been a great two weeks and a nice journey from St. Vincent where we picked them up.
