Well Rob #1 left yesterday and Rob #2 arrives tomorrow. Crew changes. So I have been spending my time visiting upper and lower Quebec taking photos. Also did laundry, fuelled up, emptied holding tank and took on water. So I am ready to go. Some maintenance as well. Seems I picked up some twigs in the water intake which was slowing engine cooling. Also plan to change transmission oil before we leave at 400am Saturday morning to properly time the tide for downstream. The marina is world class but not cheap. Beside the central market of Quebec and also the train station so very handy. Been picking up goodies at the market. Killer fudge and in season local strawberries from Ile D'Orleans. Also visited a tall ship from Italy in port. The L'Amerigo Vespucci, supposed to be the most beautiful ship in the world. So when Rob arrives we will put Ardbeg outside the locks for the night so we can get off early before the locks open. Next stop, Cap a l'Aigle marina near Baise St Paul, a famous artist community.
