(Love the parking meter.) Cape Fear River was a pussycat. Beautiful day to motor 21 miles and tie up at a marina in Southport. Both Captain and Admiral missed the first pair of marks for the marina entrance channel due to blinding sun glare and the fact that the correct pilings only had dabs of red and green paint on them. Dockmaster couldn't believe we didn't run aground - cheers for the lift keel!
