At Willie T's.

Another lovely downwind sail for 20 nm to the Key West area. We had planned an amphibius landing by dinghy at an RV park where our cousins were encamped - Major Scott (RV commander) and General Karen. However the Stock Island anchorage, which looked reasonable from the charts, turned out to be too shallow for comfort, and in any case littered with derelict boats. So we are tied up at a marina about a half-mile walk from the encampment. The Major commandeered a vehicle and we had a pleasant evening visiting bars and eating seafood.

We probably will remain in the Key West area for a few days... this is sort of the end of the line, but the Admiral is making plans for a seaplane operation to the Dry Tortugas... we'll see.
