While we have both been suffering from head colds this week,
Sheryl and I have very different methods for dealing with such a malady. Sheryl deals by denial. Nothing seems to stop her from her normal activities. She simply refuses to acknowledge the illness. Meanwhile, I fully embrace the rest-and-recuperate approach. Thus, the last few days have found us dissimilarly engaged.
Sheryl did a bit of snorkeling yesterday (Yes, snorkeling with a head cold. Was I right about denial?) and grabbed a couple more fantastic underwater photos, including two great shots of parrotfish...

While Sheryl was off snorkeling with Jan (from
Irise), I remained in my comfy berth. In addition to the down time spent reading and watching movies, I did a little bit of writing.
Mark, who, along with his wife Terrie, owns the
Palmetto Guesthouse here on Culebra, also runs the website:
mytropicalescape.com. After we met a few weeks ago, Mark asked me to write a posting for his site. And as you well know, dear Reader, I like to write.
