Two important items to have in your ditch bag, an EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon) to contact Search and Rescue if you have to abandon ship, and two shots of vodka. The vodka serves as the back up to the EPIRB if it does not work. Vodka was a thoughtful Christmas gift form Janet
