We arrived back home at the Autumn Borne last night about 8:30 PM.... Long Day...thus completing our second WNY visit.
Ruth called in the afternoon, while we were cruising down the I-90 and asked if we could meet her at their local Lowes STore...
They had purchased 8 patio / deck chairs, and were wondering if they'd fit into the Honda Pilot....
YEP.. they FIT... but we had to transfer all our luggage and guitars to Ruth's car for the trip to their home.
:) Matt then fixed a nice dinner...

We unloaded here at the marina when we got here... We were tired, but completed the unloading in one 'swoop'.

Our time in Western NY seemed so short this year.... We visited with a few friends like Ruth Szvoren, Mike and Sue (Collins), Kathleen Burke, and
of course, our host family Karyl, Zack, and Bill Pomerhn. So many friends were missed this time... :( Bummer.

Now comes the part of the summer, where we look toward preparing Autumn Borne for the 9 months of cruising ahead of us... i.e. Project Time.
The wind generator is now working fine. The sink drain in the galley has to be replaced... with a Stainless Steel item (the brass or whatever metal the old one was) was eaten by the salt water
WELL... I'm not going list the projects here... but it suffices to say that there's a fair number of items to keep us busy, for three weeks.

It was nice last week to get AB out on the River, and shake the wasp nests, and spiders out of the sails (even there wasn't enough wind to really Sail Her).
